Wines in Wine Salon

Brief statistics of the collection of the Czech Wine Salon 2024:

• 85 white wines, 10 red wines, 2 sparkling wines, 2 rosé wines and 1 liqueur wine.
• The grape variety composition consists of 25 grape varieties and 3 cuvées.
• The most successful white varieties this year are Riesling (14 wines), Chardonnay (12 wines), Welschriesling and Pinot Blanc (both 9 wines), Pinot Gris and Grüner Veltliner (both 8 wines), Pálava and Sauvignon Blanc (both 5 wines) and Gewürtztraminer (4 wines).
• The most successful red varieties are Pinot Noir (4 wines) and Blaufränkisch (4 wines).
• The most represented vintages are the 2022 vintage with 4 wines and the 2021 vintage with 42 wines.
• The wines with the Gold Medal of the Wine Salon come from 54 winemakers and wine companies.
