Description of wine:
The vineyard whence the grapes came is a registered ecological farm on south-west-facing slopes in the village of Velké Bílovice, on the vineyard tract called Přední Hora. The soil is clay. The wine fermented in a vinificator for a period of 7 days and matured for 12 months in wooden oak barrels that were three-years-old at the most and had a capacity of either 500 or 225 litres. The wine was bottled in January 2024. Tones of overripe cherries combined with a pleasing acidity prevail on both nose and palate. Will make an excellent match for dishes prepared with either beef or pork.
