Description of wine:
The limestone sub-soil on the Pálava foothills has given rise to this wine with its dark ruby colour and violet reflections. The palate is succulent, debonair and even creamy while the medium-intense nose is of forest fruit, complemented by a hint of cloves and anise. Here you will find a pleasing spicy quality and earthiness with a breath of sweet paprika, autumn apples and stone fruit. This wine has a proportionately lengthy finish with a gentle acidity. It matured for 24 months on its fine lees in large barrels of 3 000-litre capacity.
