Description of wine:
One third of the wine matured in large concrete eggs and the other two thirds in new oak barrels with a capacity of 400 litres. It has a ruby colour and generous nose which is not short on sappiness. From the very outset we find the freshness of cranberry juice as well as that of small berry fruit such as blackberries and redcurrants. The next phase concerns the supplementary aromatics of dried thyme, licorice and a delicate metallic note. On the medium-full palate hot elderberry juice leads the way, followed by blackberry jam and traces of smoky fumes.
