Description of wine:
A deep garnet colour with blue reflections. Forest fruit with a pinch of blackcurrant, blackberry and coffee beans are the dominant features on the nose. The palate is fully rounded as well as long and sumptuous. Through maturation in barrels the wine's lovely cherry-to-blackcurrant fruitiness has been nicely preserved. The wooden casks have added undertones of vanilla, coffee and chocolate. The wine is complex and highly structured and possesses a great potential for long development in bottle.
